Dear Sir:

I am a Middle School teacher at blank blank Middle School, blank blank, BC, Canada. I instruct Information Technology classes at the Grade 6 to 8 level. I teach my students about copyright. I instruct them never to take images from the net. My understanding is that all content is the property of its creator or owner. So we create our own images, or get them from a place where they are really free.

That does not mean, however, that my students might not surf the web looking at images. So, yesterday, when one of my Grade 6 students went searching for a stanley cup image using a Google image search and came up with the following image on your site, I was more than a little dismayed.

Would you want your kid to find this kind of thing? I'm quite sure that many would find this image to be pornographic in the extreme. I am considering reporting you to whomever I can. I hope that you will reconsider unleashing this sort of unpleasant surprise on unsuspecting youngsters in the future. I will check back on your site next week and if I still find the offensive image to be present, I will report you to legal authorities.

A Concerned Teacher

I was going to remove that image soon anyway, because it's purpose is finished. I think I will wait 2 weeks to pull that one down, just because. Unless, of course, the RCMPs show up at my door.
