Slightly North

Dan recounts a chilling 2 (!) nights of structure fires in the north Seattle area in a row. While Erin and I live a bit more south (and west) of the area being targeted by arson, it is no less frightening. Yesterday while sitting on our balcony, which faces south looking across the valley, we saw another fire near the Westfield area. No less than 7 fire trucks of various sizes were also seen racing towards the smoke. While it was put out fairly quick, we were sure it was a mark of fires starting in our area as well. As it turns out, no mention of the fire in West Seattle was made in the media this morning. Still, I hope someone is caught soon.
