Relaxing Weekend

Had a fairly relaxing weekend. On Saturday we got our weekly grocery shopping out of the way, had the car washed, and watched our current Netflix movie: The Ringer. It was an awesome movie by the way. Funny as hell and didn't cross the line into tastelessness. In fact, the movie had the support of the Special Olympics fully behind it. In the special features someone commented on how perfect Johnny Knoxville is for this movie because a lot of the kids who watched Jackass are the same ones who make fun of impaired kids.

On Sunday we relaxed a bit. It started raining in the afternoon. There was even some thunder, which is rare for the area. For dinner we had these awesome Italian style chicken sausages in a hotdog bun with onion. Erin had been wanting onion rings from the newly opened A&W in White Center, so I went and picked some up to go with dinner. They were about 70% cold by the time I got them home and you could tell that one bag was much older then the other. Pretty greasy, but tasty overall. After dinner we settled in to watch the Edmonton Oilers beat the Ducks in a 3-1 win to take a 2-0 series lead. Later we watched the first part of the ultra-cheesy 10.5 sequel. Little did we know it was only part 1. Ah well, it looked pretty good in HD.
