Only one update tonight. One BIGGGGG update. So off we go...

First some plugs. Both were sent to me via email. Sloppy Rage is one of the funky bunch over at Markside. Sloppy is a good name for it, although not in a bad way. So go look at that. Second, we have UNPC.net. It reminds me (fondly) of the old Dissolve layout without the rounded corners. Again, a good site to keep your eyes on. Both are new (I think) e/n sites and both will be added to the portal site.

Whew, that out of the way, Red pointed out that I got a little red dot next to my site's name over on Hear Ye! Who knew that one little red pixel could mean so much. So now you have to look at my listing over on the left even when you minimize that really really long list. Evil, yeah.

Opinions of other sites; a long time in coming. I don't like the new logo graphic at NeoFlux. The green one was a lot cooler. However, that doesn't take away from the great commentary. Yes, even you Glass... Phester is one employee short of 850. So if you havn't signed up as an employee yet, go do it now. It is a really origional concept and will only take about 5 minutes of your time. I can vouch that you won't get spam mail because of it. So go do it after you finish reading this very long schpeal. Finally, I don't think Watch the World Die could get any better. If there is a light shining in this murkey community we call e/n, it is WTWD. I don't get half as much joy from reading (typo, oops) any other site as I get from reading his. It is like an ever changing comic book. Really really outstanding stuff.

Lastly, I want to plug one of my hosted sites again. Moo.Nothing. Fox is thinking about closing it. So if you in any way support it, let Fox know right now. Personally I don't want to see it go. So show some support.

Defrag night for me. 3 hours for only my boot drive. I will have to defrag the other two while I am sleeping. What a damn bother. While that is going on I am watching the rebroadcast of TLC's documentary of the Zodiac Killer. For years I have been interested in this serial killer. I can't beleive I missed this show in December when it was first put on TV. I don't make any claim to glorify his actions, but you have to have a huge ammount of respect for a person who can get away with what he did without ever being caught. He would taunt the police. Play games with them. He even was smart (insane?) enough to be able to write to them in crypitic codes that even the military couldn't decode. When the UNIBOMBER was caught (or was he?) people made claim that he was in fact also the Zodiac. Personally I don't beleive this, but who can say at this point. Further reading on this very interesting span of years can be found at "This is the Zodiac Speaking...", and The Zodiac Murderer.

I have gotten a fairly good responce from the people who took the time to tell me what they think of the new "splash" page I put up around here. I think I am going to change over this weblog to mimic that style in a few weeks. I don't want to get too graphic heavy though. Never a good idea when I myself am still on a dialup connection. I feel the pain of a slow connection every day.

Interesting find this evening, how Jimmy Eat World got their name:

This is the story. Tom has many brother and sisters and sometimes they get in scuffles. So, one day two of Tom's younger brothers were feuding. They were Ed and Jimmy, Ed being the youngest of the two. So like always, the older brother is getting the better of the younger one and the insults started flying. Well, Jimmy finally just locked his little brother out of the room that they shared and Ed was getting really flustered. So Ed did what any 8 year old would do, he broke out the crayons and drew a picture of his chubby, older brother Jimmy shoving what appeared to be the earth into his gapping mouth. The caption at the bottom read "jimmy eat world". Ed placed the masterpeice on the fridge in the kitchen for all to see. We thought that was really funny and decided to name our band after the caption.

I have been a little bored today as you can see from the new splash page. I think it was more of a somber mood then anything. Today was the first day I have had off from work in about 2 weeks. My bank account is happy though.

So I don't know about that splash page. Usually when I start getting away from simplicity, it isn't pretty. That and the load time for the page is a little high. My designs usually are though. So deal with it until I decide if I want to keep it or not. It does add a level of class around here though. The more I start at it the more I like it. If you really hate it though, let me know.

Happy second birthday Haer Ye!
Hear is wishing you another 2 great years. Inferno is also starting a majordomo mailing list for e/n related things. So check that out. I signed up as list-en-er@slightlynorth.com but it told me that had to be verified since my email headers were not the same. That takes some of the fun out of my little jokey-poo.
<-- 11:51 PM MT -->
My inbox is actually empty for the first time in months. I think my .pst file (outlook file for personal folders) was around 150mb. Now it is down to 15mb. I noticed the problem when I tried to open an old email and it took almost 2 minutes to open. My poor machine could use a good scandisk and defrag too. I'm too lazy though. I think I am going to let windows crash again and then just reload it. I seem to have to reload every 4-6 months anyway. Thankfully I have 3 physical disks. The smallest (6.4GB) holds all the stuff I CAN lose. I don't know what I would do if I lost one of the others. I think I would be lost to the world. No more saved email, no more ICQ contacts, no more image library (the stuff I use as a base for my header images), and worst of all no more saved game files. Ouch.

Apache. I get to learn it this weekend. Yes, I have to know it by monday. For some reason I have been branded as a web server administrator at work, and have to configure Apache for a customer. I think I am going to fail unless I read my ass off this weekend. So, if anyone has some tips to make my life easier please drop me a line. Hey, if you know of a trouble spot you would like to bring to my attention, I would love to hear it.

Damn, this hits too close to home. My quest for high-speed internet access has been a bust so far. TCI (oops, make that AT&T) tells me that my area is set up for a cable modem, but my node has not been released yet. They have been telling me this for over a year now. I don't think they deserve my business anymore. Shame, I was going to upgrade my cable service to digital too. I guess that is about $100 a month they won't be seeing from my wallet. Even better, US Worst tells me that DSL service requires that you be within 15,000 feet of the CO (central office) or DSL won't work. I am sitting somewhere between 15,050 and 15,100 feet. ARGH! They did suggest that I can get an ISDN line for about $200 per month. I think not. I guess I will have to live a life scorned because I use a (gasp) modem still.

"I'm a dork and she's so cool. I'm ugly, she's beautiful. She's so smart, I'm just a fool. I just can't figure it out, I just don't understand. Why does she love me?"

Most likely you can count on seeing less and less e/n related site links around here. At least in the bar to the left. I was going on my daily rounds and found that I am quickly losing intrest in most of the sites I had up there. Not for anything they are doing, but rather I am tired of hearing what most of them did in school each day. More so, I am tired (yes I am saying it again) of the stupid stunts a few of them pull just to gain attention. TBA (from BD) tells me it is all in fun. I guess it could be. I don't see it that way, but I respect it none the less.

Digital Fox (moo.nothing, if you don't know it, I suggest you go there now) says that my site and I are "a very popular, MAJOR e/n [site]." I don't know about that, but it made me laugh when I read it. My site and I, that brings up another point. Can I say that? Is the web now so much a part of our lives that we can classify web sites as places rather then things? I know it is still a noun, but it brings up a nice piece of discussion matter. What will happen when we all have "wetwires" (for lack of a better term) in our heads with our own web server on each one? Could I then classify that small part of my body as a place? Interesting...

Wow, the StoneCutters episode of The Simpsons was on this evening. That is a rare one to catch.
<-- 10:16 PM MT -->
I guess I spoke too soon. Brawl time. I don't think anything is as funny as seeing 3 guys trying to break up a 10-man brawl. They usually break it up though. Except the time the Avs and the Wings were in the playoffs together. I think that fight took almost 5 minutes to break up. 5 minutes isn't a long time normally, but imagine being down on that ice. Most fights only last 30 seconds.

<-- 10:08 PM MT -->
I have been watching the Avalanche vs. Sharks game on FOX Sports tonight. Roy has been knocked down 3 times, with the latest incurring a penelty. No fights yet though, odd. I guess there really IS a full moon tonight. Actually, from space it is always a full moon. Isn't it?

<-- 8:03 PM MT -->
Tell me something I don't know, you know? Today was stressful, and it started out that way. Usually the day is calm in the mornings. Full moon today? Could be. So now I am relaxing to a song where the lyrics are "I want my hat back, cause I have a stupid haircut." I can relate to that. I call it high school. That was too long ago to remember more though. I actually found a script that makes Stile a better read. Of course, none of you go there for his awesome writing "skilz" anyway. How many times can one site start a controversy just to get hits anyway? A time will come that he will cry and cry about "the man" trying to shut him down and no one will give a crap. That day has long passed for me.

Can't you see this mess I call my thoughts? I think it is best expressed in the latest header graphic. Sometimes I just get the feeling I am trying to get away. As far away from everything as my mind will let me. My keyboard feels wierd tonight. Like someone snuck in and replaced my normal keyboard with something new, something different. Life is like that sometimes too. Is this my life? It feels so new at times. Like someone snuck into my mind and added memories that seem like mine, but feel wierd at the same time. This is why I don't try to find the meaning in things, they can be so new under a different light. These are the red eye politics of my life, and my empire is melting like ice under a hot sun.

The cigarette boxes are stacking up against me. Threatening to fall over, causing disarray to my organized chaos. Pass me the remedy, get this crap out of my head. Out I say. Before you were here what were you thinking? Why must you treat me like you do? Don't you know its all for you? You don't love me! Why am I waiting for you to see I'm alive? Story-book ending. Not really...

This was brought to my attention tonight. Actually, I was out with some friends at the time. And I walk into my home and see just how unorigional some people can be. Its sick actually. If you are going to rip off someone's code, remove the stuff you won't be using and at least change the colors. I mean, this is obviously mine. Not only are all the images still the same name, but that is my table width, and that is my background color. I guess you could argue that anyone can make 770 pixel content tables, and anyone can make their background color be SlateGray. Last time I looked though, Clockwork was not part of the OpenNetwork!

Anyway, if you are going to be lame enough to steal someone's code, at least don't put it up where your site normally is. I mean, how tacky can you get?

I also found out that Stile is now ripping off r33t's design. More so, that is Delusion's design work. Go Stile, yeah!

Hmmm... I think I am going to rip off Microsoft for my next layout. No one will notice that. I will just swear up and down that I made it. I swear I did!

More humor:

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson went on a camping trip. After a good meal and a bottle of wine they lay down in their tent for the night, and went to sleep.

Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudged his faithful friend awake. "Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see."

Watson replied, "I see millions and millions of stars."
"What does that tell you?" Holmes questioned.

Watson pondered for a minute. "Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What does it tell you?"

Holmes was silent for a moment, then spoke. "Watson, you ass. Someone has stolen our tent."

Working on a Saturday has got to be about the most annoying thing ever. I get to upgrade the PDC at work to a RAID-5 config with a hot spare. Before I can do that I have to put in a new cage and a new array controller. Annoying. In the end though, I get to pull out the 13gb drive to use for the web server. That and the PDC will finally have some redundancy. So I guess that is good too.

Hopefully, once I get the web server up and the company site all working again I can host this site there too. Then I wouldn't have to pay $10 just for a stupid 3rd level domain name addition.

Ah well, better get to it I guess.

Big news in the NHL today. It seems that the Canadian federal government has pulled the subsidy package that was proposed. This package was to help the 6 remaining Canadian teams stay in the country by allowing the government to match funds contributed byt the NHL up to 25%. Estimated cost the the government was said to be around $3 million canadian, or $2.07 million USD.

Now, we all know how important hockey is to the Canadian people, lets just hope their economy rebounds before all 6 teams relocate to areas like Las Vegas. I don't think I could live in a world where the NHL's hockey hall of fame was not in Toronto...

This is going to be a bit more personal then I usually get, for that I am sorry. Something major happened today and I have to get it off my chest.

Being the manager for your friends can sometimes be really hard. I had to kind of get mad at one of my best friends today over some stupid stuff. Stupid stupid crap. See, we have a deadline for a large project. Call it phase one if you will. Anyway, this deadline is Monday morning. As humans, punk-ass ones at that, we all put things off till the last moment. Fact of life. But MY boss is getting mad. He is seeing a trend in the way we all opperate and he is trying to turn it around. Personally I can see him dropping all of us if things don't change soon. So today was a big step, one we almost missed. I think we pulled out well though, and hopefully on Monday will have enough together to keep our jobs.

So Chris, I am sorry if I pissed you off today. Beleive me when I say it was nothing personal. But sometimes we have to drop our friendship to get our shit done. If (when) we start our own little thing we will be confronted by this stuff all the time. I guess it is just something we will have to work through. If we can survive the next couple of months and come out of it as friends, then we can do anything together. I think we both need to increase our productivity a bit and prove we are worth keeping around. Make these bastards realize that we are an asset, not just an expense. So hang in there man, you know I still love ya. (did I drop my pen??)

A while back Dan asked me for the low down on the Razer Boomslang 2000 that I picked up. Well, I totally missed his email so here it is. (better late then never right?)

The boomslang is (and I am not making this up) THE BEST mouse I have ever used. I personally bought the 2000 version. First of all it came in a really neat round tin and says "First Edition" on the mouse. The first 5000 people to get them got a first edition. Interestingly, I got #000002500. Right in the middle there!

Anyway, I also ordered the mouse pad they have on their order form as well. That with the mouse makes it like ice. No kidding. The first day I hooked it up I actually had to set the sensitivity down to the lowest setting and it was still too fast. Now that I have gotten used to it I have it in the middle. But even then, at 2000dpi it is really easy to over shoot your target until you get used to it. But then it is super accurate. So big big big plus there.

Outside of games it is really great as well. In ImageStyler (Adobe) I have an easier job hitting my mark on image sizes. Most of the time now I don't have to zoom in to get something to line up. Again, 2000dpi at work there. So it is a wonderful help outside of games as well. But, in Quake3 I can keep up with friends who used to waste me in seconds. Except for Chris, he got a 2000 boomslang too, so no advantage for me...

Bottom line? I got the boomslang 2000 mouse, a 3M precise mouse pad, and BattleZone II.

$129.09 well spent.

I miss someone. Actually, I miss Delusion. I don't know anyone who was quite as funny as him. Not haha funny, but laugh your ass off time after time at the things he could come up with. Regardless, I havn't seen or heard from Del in quite a while now. I visit his site from time to time. Just checking to see if anything has changed. Every time though, I run across the coolest quote. So I am going to share it here. You have been warned...

Drudgery by Design
There's more to the web than animated graphics.

A good web site should vividly re-create that feeling you got when you first pulled out that box of family keepsakes and read the dirty love letters that your father wrote your mother when he was in prison.

The web isn't about happiness.

It's about feeling bad about yourself.

Really bad.

So damn bad, in fact, that you constantly have to restrain yourself from washing your hands until they chafe.

That's design!

It's enough to make you forget that the only reason Marshall McLuhan is remembered for his views on the future of media was because of sheer overkill - if you say 1,000 stupid things, one or two of them are bound to be prophetic.

I think I have taken this to heart more then once. Might explain my design techniques. For some reason I always come up with something that has a deeper meaning to me then it does to anyone else. Maybe I am actually putting a small piece of myself into what I do on this page.

Going to bed early tonight. I have a lot to think about.

I have decided that the whole e/n "scene" can go to hell. It is getting to be a really poorly written 90210 around here. I refuse to drop my standards and actually argue about any subject. Last thing I need is to be wasting my time on subjects that I can not change anyway. So the whole Ramblings thing, I don't wish you guys to go to jail or anything that might mess up your life, but I could care less what happens beyond that.

That being said...

This has been a strange weekend. First I had to cut off communication with an old friend because I don't respect her anymore. So shitty mood there. Next, in my rage towards the society I live in, I tried to stand up for some people without knowing what exactly was going on. I guess you can't learn until you get burnt. So more anger for me. In a way to release my anger I re-organized my 400+ CD collection. I think I have about 300 I should hock for money. All they do is collect dust and I am not really interested in the music anymore.

On a happy note, Jenn's new site (will be hosted here, more on that later) has had the DNS completed and is ready for content. So it should be opening soon.

So yeah, anger and happiness. Hot and cold. Good and bad. Everything balances. I am reminded of a Seinfeld episode about it. And a smile emerges again...

In the face of this
We're calling off the kiss and you sang "Higher"

Looking great today was sad
I'm sick of feeling bad far away

Crying over me know you by your sound
But hummingbirds are winding down
They're winding

And the rain on the red clay bricks
Crumble down and bury this
The safe cannot protect failing vision
Frigid architect, the ranks are thinning out
They have flaws they are not detecting now

Measure in degrees
The arc of how we fell
Tell them all to go to hell
And take everything

Stars are never right
Burning fast tonight
They radiate their dirty light
So I can see

Falling over me and I am not disturbed
There are places I can hide
In this world

And the rain on the red clay bricks
Crumble down and bury this
The safe cannot protect failing vision
Frigid architect, the ranks are thinning out
They have flaws they are not detecting now

I just ran across this article about censorship against a little bar in Colorado Springs, CO. Read it. It is a very well put together story and will make you smile more then a few times. However, those of you who "like it clean" should not bother. It is about a guy named Leonard who runs a bar. He is very open with his choice of words and likes to post signs all over his bar. Well, the state officials decided to come into his bar (without a warrant) and remove all the signs on the premise that they violated the law.

Best quote of the story:

"My bar never smells like a bar," Leonard says. "If the weather is nice, the front and back doors are open at all times. Who wants to walk into a bar and smell afterbirth, farts and puke? I've got the number-one cleanest bathrooms in Colorado. I demand it. If nothing else, this place is clean, clean, clean."

Unless you count his signs, which are dirty, dirty, dirty.

Well, when it rains... (as they say)

Lots of news today. First, you might notice that the font size has changed around here. Don't adjust your monitor, I did that on purpose. Actually, it seems that Netscape users can't render the proper CSS that I use for this site. Again with the netscape standards. So bigger font for me, blah.

Next, FreeStyle closed their doors. Andy tells me that intrest in running the site went to a very low level with all his help and he decided to close. However, I bet we will see him again soon doing something else. This stuff is like crack.

Lastly, you might notice a change in the links to the left here. I trimmed them down a lot because the page was getting big. So the result? Less links here, but LOTS more on my new Portal site. So go take a look at it and use it. If you have a link you think should be up there, let me know.
As the days pass by quicker and quicker, I am reminded just how mortal we all are. Of course, that is a fact of life. What makes it worth living. Getting caught in an endless revolution of mundane daily tasks is not life. I think I want to walk across the United States. All alone. PS, New York is burning. Get me out of this damn loop. Would I do just what I want to do I would starve. The system is set up to keep us from haing fun all the time. Most of my life will be spent working my ass off so someone else can make money. At some point I might get the chance to work my dream job, but the chance is remote. For most of us that chance is far off and hard to reach. Is it just a coincidence to see you by yourself with no direction?

Now it is time to move on. You can't stop me. When the world caves in what are you going to do for me?
I am sitting here at work trying to keep on top of everything. My boss walks up to me and asks me to find out how much a DVD-R would be. He has decided that he will save more money by renting DVD movies, burning them, and returning the rental. So I was looking around and Panasonic has a DVD-R drive for $5,500. Now, lets do the math on this one. NOT counting the price of blank DVD disks, he would have to rent and burn 220 movies just to break even on this damn drive. But then you need to take into account that you need a second DVD drive, an MPEG encoder card, DVD authoring software, and (if you want good quality) Adobe Premier. All in all I see this price tag upwards of $10,000 just to get started. Next he would have to buy blanks and pay for the rentals of the movies he is burning. I told him all of this and he really is thinking about doing it. Retard.
I just uploaded my newest desktop image. I was poking around the web and found this site. Kick ass flash site, however I always find it annoying to navigate flash sites. They have some really cool desktop images though. So go check it out.

Oh, and you can view my desktop here.
I just got home from the best LAN party I have ever attended. Actually, I got home about 30 minutes ago but I did have to set my computer back up now didn't I? Anyway, I think at one point we had about 15 people there all playing Quake3. I don't think I have ever seen more digital blood in all my life then on CTF4. The smell of rocket smoke was heavy in the air, rail gun trails lighting the dark sky, and gibs flying in all directions. Damn I love that game.

Anyway, I think we played for about 12 hours. On the list were: Quake3, Unreal Tournament, Rogue Spear, and Alien vs Preditor. I wanted to play some AoE2, but hey, I guess that was too slow for everyone else. Fun stuff though, I had a blast.

In other news. Mike over at The Element wanted to trade links. I am too tired to edit tonight though. So look for a link to his site up here soon. Also, I am still working on a portal site of some kind, however there are a damn lot of e/n and weblog sites out there. So I am going to be recruiting some help from a few people. More on that next week I hope.

So yeah, busy day for me. Time for some much needed sleep now.

I think I just found the coolest flash presentation I have ever seen. Brought to you by the good people at *spark-online.

Just watch out, it is very bandwidth heavy.

The Webmaster Award
Someone submitted my site for The Webmaster Award, and I won! Wow! I am honored. Looks to me like only 700 or so sites have won this award in the last year. So big ego time for me I guess. I would like to know who submitted this site for the award though. So if it was YOU, let me know.

And now back to the mindless dribble... (actually, I am going to go play some EverCrack)

I would just like to take a second and announce a new site. Hosted here at SnoT, I give you Perpetual Motion. Now go give Democritus some love.

Last night as I lay awake I had a thought. My cold has been keeping me up late. Anyway, I was thinking of the world we live in. A world where idiots are glamorized. Where pissing off people is a better way to make money then doing a good job. Take Howard Stern for example, or Stile, or r33t. People who make it their business to get a rise out of someone else. And the public buys it.

Where did we all go wrong? People would rather watch shows that depict other people getting arrested then something that might teach them something new. Tonight on FOX: "When the public actually grows up." would be nice to see for once. Kids killing other kids, and the media decides to explain it by blaming video games and music.

Speaking of music. Look at what sells today. Bands who do things just to get attention. Manson is a tool, and he outsells most of the outstanding artists put together. I would love to see the day a band like Jimmy Eat World gets more exposure then some crap like 311. Plastic corporate music sells though. Look at the world of techno. No "band" in the world has more raw skill and talent then the greatest techno DJs. Yet they are largly unknown to the general public. Regarded by the media as "Music to kill by." Absurd!

Regardless however, we live in a world where a game calld "Deer Hunter" outsells a masterpeice like "HomeWorld." A world where a gang member is more highly regarded then a parent. A world where people starve on the streets and we actually think there it nothing we can do for him.

I am dreaming of this world and I am dreaming of waking up.
Too much going on tonight. Sorry. I will update more tomorrow.
This is straight from the Jade Tree site:

As of right now, it looks like Jets will head into the studio in the spring of 2000 to record a follow-up to their successful debut, Orange Rhyming Dictionary. If the material they've been playing live is an indication of how the new record will sound, then it should be even more extraordinary than its predecessor.

Want to know just how amazing JtB are? Check out their songs I TYPED FOR MILES and RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.

Could you live with yourself and NOT own this album? Go buy it! Simply go to the Jade Tree site, click on bands, and purchase the damn thing.

Don't make me come over there...

He turned and opened a drawer behind him, pulling out a gray machine I wasn't familiar with. "This device should do the trick," he said jovially as he snapped on two new latex gloves. I lay back on the examining table, the vinyl top sticking to the moist flesh of my back. My shirt lay discarded and crumpled on floor carpetted in slate gray with red specks. I tilted my head back and closed my eyes as he approached. I felt him set the machine, heavy and cold, on my chest, heard the whine of the motors starting up, rising in pitch and volume, felt the dull sensation of it boring into my chest. I breathed hard and deep, biting my lip harder and deeper until it finally bled, desperately trying to stifle a cry of agony as it tunneled deeper and deeper and deeper into me. Cold. Cold. Cold at the moment of resignation when it all ended.

I don't feel a thing.

I want you to feel my hate. I am running water. I am pouring rain. A river filled with rage, rushing to your ocean. You started my flowing. You set my path downhill in your direction. You can't stop it now. I will reach your shore in a rush of pure hatred and rage.

2 fucking years I gave to you. 2 years I invested in a life I thought was my future. I couldn't see past the mask of love you wore around me. I couldn't see the evil bitch hiding behind it. All at once you were revealed and you stoped talking to me. A dam in my river. But a dam can't hold forever. It must release a little bit or it will break. You gave nothing, and now I am flowing once again.

Now you act like nothing happened between us. Like you no longer care. You paint a face over your mask to fool your friends. They think you were using me. I know better. You know better. Your coldness is just another way for you to hide from your true feelings. You tried to freeze my river. But the winter won't last forever. I am flowing yet again. Ever onwards towards you.

Now you think moving will solve all your problems. Your friends have seen who you really are. You no longer have the envy you demand. In a jaded world you call home, your dreams of reality are dissolving before your eyes. My course is no longer as clear as it once was. But faithful, my river's course is still set. Like nothing else the river is able to forge a path where no path existed. Wearing away at the earth to reach it's desired final point.

We will meet again one day. All my rage will poor into you like a dam at the edge of an ocean. Those walls you built around your pathetic little world are weak at best. I will wear away at those walls. You will finally know my rage. You will finally feel my hurt. And I promise you, you will know just what you gave up.

So enjoy your protected little world. I am moving. Always moving. We will meet again. Prepare.

I think I want to light something on fire...

I was thinking of this (I just wrote it):

All this energy calling me
Back where it comes from
Such a crude attitude
Back where it belongs

All the little chicks with the crimson lips go:
Denver rocks! Denver rocks!
Livin' in sin with a safety pin, cause
Denver rocks, Denver rocks, DENVER ROCKS!!!

COLORADO!!!! (echo)

That might get me in a bit of trouble though...

Schlyer moved his site over to his new domain. So we will no longer see a link to Schlyer, rather one to NeoFlux.com

Also, I added a new link in the e/n section. Pixelated Vision has a very nice, very clean layout. Not to mention some really good commentary. I also added Roosh. Any more and I will have to move them all over to a new page and just put up my most favorite. Which will be hard since most of them I really think should get more exposure. Maybe a portal site. Or maybe they can just run down the page for miles. Let me know what would be better in the little comment thing.

Some subtle changes around these narrow halls. First, I am now the proud host of Moo.Nothing. I have become fast friends with Digital Fox and wanted to help him get rid of the nasty popup banners. So he can now call slightlynorth.com home.

I also got rid of the nifty floating boxes over a lot of the links. It seems more people were having problems with them then anything. So they are gone.

I now leave you so I can watch Studio 54.

Denver is now safely across the line. No power went out, no riots insued. Too bad, I really wanted some new furnature. Oh well.

Ahh... no sooner do I write that as I hear a cop streaking down Sheridan Blvd in a rush of lights and sirens. Prolly just some drunk ass beating up his wife and/or children. Now I just have to hope that the riot that DigitalFox signed up for is still a go. Looking pretty bleak since Y2K happened without a glitch.
