Capped

I saw this from the street and couldn't pass it up. The vibrant red caps to these pipes was cool looking.

Timeless

I think I like this one so much because it looks like it could have been taken in the 1920's or something. Perhaps because I used a flash.

Not the Same

A lush rose garden is just not the same in late winter.

Easy Street

This is "The Junction" in West Seattle, where California meets Alaska (streets). This is the last of the "Walk All Ways" intersections left in the Seattle area.

Grilled Chicken and Pasta Alfredo

A meal Erin and I made a few days ago. All home-made too, except for the chicken which we bought pre-grilled from the store.

Ingredients:
- Pasta (We used Rotini, but you can use any non-noodle shape)
- Grilled Chicken (1 large breast)
- Roasted red pepper
- Baby spinach
- Homemade Alfredo sauce (super easy to do!)
- Parmesan cheese

This bench was found in the South Seattle Community College Arboretum. The Arboretum is on the north edge of the college campus in West Seattle.

Random

This Chinese style structure is in the middle of an empty field. I suspect it was built for the Seattle Chinese Garden's promotional material, which was nearby.

The (not yet built) Seattle Chinese Garden is on the north edge of the South Seattle Community College campus.

John Vanderslice @ The Triple Door

Last night we caught John Vanderslice at The Triple Door in Seattle. It was one of the best shows I have ever seen. The venue was amazing, the sound was perfect, and John was as funny and nice as always. St. Vincent opened and was a one-woman act. Annie is amazingly talented. All in all, one of the best shows in a long while. Thanks for everything John, see you in the fall!

PS. The picture above links to my entire Flickr set for this show. 50 pictures total!

Sadie

Sadie, our cat, looking a little annoyed with the camera in her face. She really didn't like the Auto-Focus Assist Beam shining in her eye about a second before I took this.

Kettle Corn

Erin's tasty snack.

Flowering Tree

I took this right outside of my office building. All of the trees are flowering right now.
