John Vanderslice at Fremont Bridge

John Vanderslice made an appearance at the Fremont Bridge in Seattle to play a few songs. About 20 people showed up for one of the coolest gigs ever. We waited for a boat to come along to cause the bridge to open and stop traffic. Once that happened the quiet was surreal and John played on.

Awesome.

Thanks John, for being who you are.

Working?

Is anything really work when you live on a houseboat?

Hidden Nest

Gasworks Park, Seattle.

I took this shot of the grafitti. It was only after getting home and looking at the shot that I noticed the nest in the upper right corner.

Harbor Factory

A factory on Harbor Island in Seattle. That is my car in the picture. :)

Off Topic: Today I got invited to a blogger meetup at KOMO headquarters next week CORRECTION: in two weeks, Aug 2nd to be exact. I have to wonder if it is because of my more traditional blogging past, the fact that this has turned into a photoblog mostly about scenes in Seattle, or the fact that I was linked to on another site as being a local blogger. Either way, I am going. It should be fun!
